Artwork Description
OMO Valley, Ethiopia. “I photograph women because they have always welcomed me into their homes, their lives, and into the circle of care when I traveled with my young children. This woman from the Suri tribe framed her painted face with flowers, wearing a crown of white blossoms above and holding a bouquet to her chest. Despite hardship and exhaustion, many of us still strive to create beauty as a form of resilience. This portrait is my celebration of that shared tendency and a reminder that the world needs more of it” Edition of 6: 32” x 48” Edition of 6: 40” x 60” Edition of 6: 50” x 75”
