Artwork Description
Qaanaaq, Greenland. “Pressed so close their bodies seem to merge, these three young huskies looked for a moment like a mythic, three-headed guardian. I made the photograph during a National Geographic assignment in the Canadian Arctic, where dogs like these once pulled hunters and traders across the sea ice between Greenland and Baffin Island. That long history of endurance and partnership still lives in their blood. What I saw here, though, was something simpler, born from youth, mischief, and the unmistakable bond of a pack” Edition of 6: 20” x 30” Edition of 6: 32” x 48” Edition of 6: 40” x 60” Edition of 6: 50” x 75”
