Artwork Description
"Tanta Ira Non Si Addice (So Much Anger Does Not Befit a Goddess)" depicts the goddess Diana in the moment just after she has released an arrow. Nearby, a seated man and iron bed headboards appear. Within the same painting, the expectations society places on the female figure are represented, while a goddess so ancient and seemingly distant from contemporaneity already expresses the need to be in control of her own choices, of the arrows she releases.
