"Porta Uova (Egg Carton)" depicts an egg container whose compression has generated different shapes. Some ovals are crushed, one is cut, and one remains intact. The varied experiences of women make each woman unique, underscoring the necessity and importance of being in control of one’s life choices. The egg carton is also an allegory of the role often assigned to women’s existence.
