Albarrán Bourdais was founded by Eva Albarrán and Christian Bourdais in Madrid in 2018, as a natural
continuation of their two decades of work with key figures in the art and architectural fields through Paris-based art production agency Eva Albarrán & Co —which specialises in cultural engineering and public art—, and the architectural project Solo Houses. 

Representingover 20 renowned contemporary artists, the gallery organises ambitious exhibitions in its sensitively-restored locations in Madrid and Menorca, as well as through the open-air Solo Sculpture Trail, with the objective of providing artists with the best opportunities to experiment and present their work beyond the traditional limits of the white cube. 

Albarrán Bourdais continues to work with promiment figures and emerging talents from the French, Spanish and Latin American artistic scenes. As a reflection of its founders’ background, the gallery’s program aims to reinforce the links and dialogues across these regions.
