Antonela Aiassa is a contemporary sculptor and painter who lives and works between Barcelona and Buenos Aires. Her practice explores identity, belonging, and the subtle connections between the individual and the collective, drawing from nature's richness, human relationships, and the intertwined cultural identities of her two cities. ​ With a monochromatic palette inspired by natural tones and materials like Indian ink on canvas and chamotte clay, Aiassa creates meditative works that balance tranquility and dynamism. Her organic, delicate lines form reduced yet complex compositions, while her sculptures maintain a constant dialogue with her paintings, inviting haptic engagement through gentle, curved forms. ​ Self-taught beyond her formal art training and fashion design background, Aiassa's process harmonizes intention with intuition, starting from a core idea and letting creative impulses guide organic development. Each piece becomes an introspective bridge between personal traces of life and shared experience. ​ This is a unique work, and its technique allows for rolling.
