Eduardo Stupía’s works we are presenting blur and enrich the boundaries between gestural action and linear drawing, forming a unified text- image grapheme. In both his drawings and works on canvas, the artist develops an intensely magnetic field of converging harmonies and dissonances through a confluence of strokes, lines, stains, dots, textures, erasures, brushstrokes, ornaments, and fragmented figures, all of which render the visual field almost as uncertain as it is laden with meaning.
